Some good news for MCMS customes I forgot to mention earlier...

Office 12 will have API completeness.

So with next version of CMS the times that a tool like Site Manager is required to manually create resource galleries, create custom channel properties, maintain rights groups or to manually assign rights to containers will be gone!

Means all and everything can be scripted!

So no longer a "need" for direct database access or use of undocumented API!

Oh, and you will now also get item level security!

I am looking forward to get rid of Sitemanager finally. I hope that the out-of-the box administration possibilities will be completely and sufficiently and you do not need to script everything :)
