Forrester, a leading research firm, named Microsoft as a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Data Warehousing Platforms (EDW), Q1 2009.

The Forrester Q1 2009 Wave reports concludes that Microsoft is challenging “the EDW market leaders with its aggressive scalability push”, noting that Microsoft will “leverage these positions to deliver its growing EDW solution stack, including future cloud-based EDW services, into fresh opportunities across diverse market segments.
