Last night at CES Microsoft announced a new update for Windows Home Server. The update, called Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 (formerly code named UR1) will ship in the first half of 2008 and hit servers via Windows Update. This update will include new Home Server connector software (this is the systray app that connects your computer to the Home Server), and the ability to backup your Home Server (for offsite storage for example), and several other new features. For more information see the press release here.
