Well said. I am starting to see my customers back away from Google. Especially in light of the security concerns. But as I've said many many times – we offer choices. Host it with us? Ok fine. Host it yourself (Web apps) – fine. Why would anyone wait for Google to release a true offline client?
David said it best - “Here's the double-whammy: The mere existence of an online Office suite is enough to send Google Docs to the great beyond. Why have "sort-of compatible" Google Docs when you can have "100 percent" compatible no-brainer online apps from Microsoft?”
