Microsoft plans Office subscription service | Beyond Binary - A blog by Ina Fried - CNET News.com
AS many of my customers have asked - when are we having a "hosted" version of Office. I really cant say anything specific. I do agree with the writer that this would be our first step into the fray.
The single biggest pain point for my customers is security. This gives them heartburn and makes them nervous. I really cant imagine a smarter way to deal with that. Its really all about protecting their IP. Sometimes for a "national security" POV. My customers make chips that make machines that make missiles or something secret I'm sure. At least that's what they don't tell me - LOL!
