&lt;p&gt;I'm not so sure your fix is such a good idea though. &amp;nbsp;If you have other applications that write to the HKCU\SOFTWARE\CLSID that don't rbound as well as Java, those will get broken any machine you run this on.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I think it is a bad idea to allow a virtual application to make permenant changes to the host registry. &amp;nbsp;Is there a way to make this registry change affect the virtual bubble?&lt;/p&gt;
