Just a small comment on...

"...If Q:\ is already assigned at the time the client is installed, it will select the next available drive letter by default. ...."

Well the next available drive starting from the c: drive and normally the C: & D: is usally used for the system and the cd-rom so if the Q:, C: & D: is already in use when you are installing the SoftGrid client by default your drive letter will be E:.
