I would recommend using VMWARE as your main tool when sequencing - especially when starting out as a newbie in sequencing. You will no doubt being re-imaging you PC over, and over ,and . . .etc&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, I'm not sure when this will happen, but when MS released ver. 4.5 (maybe 5.0) of the sequencer, thing will be allot easier!!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;1. Create a &amp;quot;dummy&amp;quot; ODBC connection in your sequencer image. This will create the root ODBC key and prevent a problem where your sequenced application may not &amp;quot;See&amp;quot; local ODBC connections.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Same as the ODBC connection but with a printer. It can be any printer such as a text only or generic laser. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The issue is that is no printer or ODBC connection exists the ROOT key doesn't exist. This will cause SoftGrid to virtualize the ROOT and thus mask any subkeys present on the client.&lt;/p&gt;
