Virtualizing Adobe Photoshop 7.x with Microsoft App-V 4.5

Here's another solution from Steve Thomas, our friendly neighborhood App-V beta engineer.  This time he brings news on how we can now virtualize Adobe Photoshop 7.x using Microsoft App-V 4.5:

========

Issue: When you attempt to run a virtualized version of Adobe Photoshop 7.x using SoftGrid 4.2x or earlier and Windows Vista clients, the application will fail and generate the following error:

Application Error: User Information Missing

Note: This issue does not occur on Windows XP based clients.

Cause: This is a known issue in versions of SoftGrid prior to Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) 4.5.

Resolution: This issue has been resolved in Microsoft Application Virtualization 4.5.   To prevent the issue from occurring sequence and run Adobe Photoshop 7.x using an App-V 4.5 based sequencer and client.

========

Thanks Steve!
