Get Safe Online

 Get Safe Online

Today (17 November 2008) marks the start of Get Safe Online (GSO) week, an initiative which promotes online protection and provides clear, reliable and practical Internet security advice to anyone and everyone who wants it. Microsoft is one of the proud sponsors of this campaign and has a very strong investment in its purpose.

Visit the GSO site and you'll find a beginner's guide to online security, a quiz ‘How safe am I?' so you can test your safety skills and see if you're as secure as you think you are, and you'll also find advice aimed specifically at small businesses. Learn more about how and why you should write a security plan, how to protect links between mobile workers and the office and how to protect your data.

Get Safe Online isn't aimed just at small businesses - it's for anyone who uses a computer whether at home or at work, and no matter what age they are (this is a hint that you might want to point any teenagers of your acquaintance to the site.....).
