Yes, I have nothing to say...

So my attempt at breaking the world record of silence between posts is now broken.  Actually, it's been quite a busy year, and I have to admit that once time starts slipping away, it becomes more and more difficult to jump back into barely-started projects.  But I digress...

The catalyst for this post is the recent news that the new Windows Vista operating system is, well, "not" slipping.  That is, the scheduled release of Vista has been augmented to strategically maximize it's effectiveness to the consumer in such a way as to now be available in January '07.  Ok, it's slipping.

I don't want to start a debate on the merits of this decision, why it's good for the consumer, and even better for Microsoft, but I do want to address how this affects the release of FSX.

That is, I have absolutely nothing to say.

I mean, nothing has changed.

Everything that has been said to this point still stands.

Re-read the FAQ posted on www.fsinsider.com if you must.

"We are working hard to deliver Flight Simulator X in the holiday 2006 timeframe."

I know this is just short of what you wanted to hear, but it's the best I can do right now.  Stay tuned...

And now, another, hopefully shorter, period of silence until I have 10 minutes of uninterrupted time to blabber - I mean blog - again:).
