&lt;p&gt;Well, let's see then. &amp;nbsp;One of the advisories for the new RHEL5 was a Critical advisory for Firefox. &amp;nbsp;At least one of the Firefox vulns fixed yesterday was publicly disclosed back in November - about 5 months before the product release... &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Another example. &amp;nbsp;At the end of 90 days after Red Hat RHEL4 was released in 2005, there were 85 publicly disclosed issue that had no patch ... compared with 4 right now for Windows Vista. &amp;nbsp;I can't seem to find any outraged news coverage about that either...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So, don't get me wrong. &amp;nbsp;If folks think a vendor is dragging their feet on a serious issue, give 'em heck! &amp;nbsp;I just feel compelled to point out when they're being a bit inconsistent in their standards&lt;/p&gt;
