&lt;p&gt;Before I added this boot parameter in either Virtual PC or Virtual Server 2005 R2, it would go to a black screen and never recover (did not even get to the first of the installation screen)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Not that I have any clue on what the parameter does....&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It's about 75% loaded on the installation progress... can't wait to get started!&lt;/p&gt;
