First official Australian showing of SBS 2008
It was good to finally take the wrappers off Small Business Server 2008 last night as local SBS MVP Wayne Small took the Sydney SBS SMB IT Pro group through the first Australian demo of the new kit.
Lots of great feedback, ideas for further training & interest in the upcoming SMB Servers pre-day at TechEd 2008. This event is unique to Australia (there's actually not much SBS content at the main TechEd in Orlando, Florida) & so it would be great to see all the Australian SBS user group folk attend so that we can make a real community day out of it.
Wayne & I will be travelling around the country over the coming weeks to deliver this training, both at the official Microsoft events listed below, but also at more informal SBS user group sessions in the evening. If you can't make one, get along to the other. We'll be at the Adelaide group on the evening of June 16th, kicking off the Perth group on the evening of the 17th, Brisbane group evening of the 24th & Melbourne group on the evening of the 25th.
Cheers & hope to see you there,
Robbie
PS - yes, the dazzling brilliance of SBS shone out over the room. Either that or I have a shoddy camera phone.
