Meet Dean Calvert - Aussie SBS MVP
Third in our series of Australian Small Business Server MVPs is Dean Calvert of Adelaide.
Dean's well-known to the worldwide SBS community through his work leading the Adelaide SBS user group & more recently, via his role as the Small Business Specialist Partner Area Lead (SBSC PAL) for Australia.

Describe your business in 25 words or less: Network infrastructure specialists with particular focus on SME businesses. Provide project, managed services & ad hoc support
What are you passionate about in business?: Making a positive difference to the businesses we work with which can then make a positive difference to the lives of the people and communities touched by that business
How long have you been an SBS MVP? 4 years
How long have you been in IT?: 17 years
What are you most looking forward to with the launch of SBS 2008? Lots of nights & weekends without sleep
What’s the one thing Microsoft can do to really help partners get up to speed with the new version? Education about how to scope servers & set them up correctly (join your local SBS user group!!)
Who’s your favourite Muppets character? Fozzie – he never gives up trying to make others laugh
