Meanwhile, NGT shared with us some early results of their polling that I thought was interesting. Here’s how the first 300 respondents answered the question “What industries are you working with that do not appear to be impacted by today's economic downturn? “
Selling Response Point does not require any formal certification or competency. We do provide technical training resources, but having designed the system to be easy to deploy and manage, there is no formal test to take.

So if you have reviewed the available materials and are ready to take the next step, the best thing to do is to contact one of our hardware partners directly. You can go to www.dlink.com/var and register as a Business Solutions Partner. Microsoft partners can enter the special code we gave you at WPC to automatically enroll you at diamond level, without having to pass the normal $75,000 sales threshold. D-Link's partner program was rated 5-stars by VAR Business, and diamond status comes with a host of discounts and goodies, so this is a great deal if you can get it.

There may be a question or two on the D-Link partner program enrollment form that do not apply to you, but you can always enter "n/a" in any field; an account rep will contact within a couple days of your submission to answer any questions and serve as your primary point of contact.

What about other Response Point OEM's you say? We will pass on sales and contact information for them as soon as we have it.

Will the Microsoft partner program provide tools and resources as well? But of course. We are working on a partner portal site as we speak. Since Response Point is an OEM product however, you will need to procure it through the sales channels of one of our OEMs.

Still have questions? Send them our way!
