I have finally gotten a full OCS deployment under my belt: OCS Std., Edge (Access, Conf, AV) via ISA 2006, QoE,  UCUpdate, and Audiocodes (PBX).  I'll try to find all the links and whitepapers I used in making my lab over weekend.  I'm hoping to document it as well and post.

/start rant

Even though there is still a lot of the old LCS beast in the product it proved to be much easier than I expected - with much of the pain being around the secondary installs:

Edge - Certs and ISA AAAAHAHHHH !!!!!  Please release SP1 so SAN are supported on Certs !!!!  I'm tired of hearing "Summer '08" its summer release it.

UCUpdates - I would love someone on the Product Group (PG) to explain why this has to be rocket science!  This by far was the most painful and time consuming.  I'm trying to find the right PG alias to ask if this tool can get some better event logging and error classification.  In the end adding an extra 256MB to the share point server made everything work.
