For those of you who don't know, anyone that is familiar with RMS knows that GigaTrust provides the best extranet hosting solution out there.

re: GigaTrust.
BUT, any tech savvy user with view priveleges can just take a screenshot and then forward the data without any digital signature attached.

These tools will NEVER be able to disable all 3rd party screen capture tools.

If I tell you a secret, and you tell someone...you are right, there is no defense for that. If I tell you I know a secret, and I don't tell you what the secret is...you can't tell anyone.

RMS is designed to let your 'trustworthy' friends know a secret and prevent them from 'accidentally' doing something they aren't supposed to do with it. It prevents people whom you don't deem trustworthy from accessing the content. It also gives a company good legal footing when a 'legitimate' user intentionally bypasses the security mechanisms put in place. There is no defense for a legitimate 'bad' user outside of a court room. you really don't have to be a 'savvy' user as you put it...you just have to know how to use a telephone.

I have been working on a device however, that as soon as you read a protected piece of content, a large hammer comes out of the computer and smashes you in the head until you forget what you read. I think it will be a big seller, but I can't remember where I left the damn code now...
