I’ve had a number of request for a single post relating to the in-place migration philosophy I have used over the years.  In response to all those requests, I have updated the document and placed it here in my article section for all to refer to and read once again.  I might even expand on it, based on comments that you might leave – PLEASE DO LEAVE COMMENTS – it will only make this process better.

Please be advised that this article / post is provided as-is without direct support. Feel free to use this process as a guideline, but it still requires sufficient planning and testing before implementing as a solution to migrate you to Active Directory running on Windows Server 2003.

I hope you enjoy this repeat post and provide me some feedback and guidance on how to make it better.

If there are any volunteers to translate the document into French - I'm listening :) ... It will probably be faster then if I try my translation skills - which are rather minimal to say the least.
