Please don’t think I am shunning the East Coast by posting so late. Between George Bush, bad flight connections and bad weather – it has been quite an ordeal to get back to Ottawa from down East.  Not to mention the work that has been waiting for me to get back from being on tour…

Halifax once again proved to be a very friendly site to visit. Being from Saint John, New Brunswick – I’m fairly comfortable finding my way around the city.  I had a great time introducing a couple of my team mates (two “Upper Canadians” who had not visited down east before) to the sights and culinary delights (King of Donair) Halifax had to offer.

The IT Pros came out (once again, record numbers) to see the show and find out about what can be done about establishing a self sustaining community or user group for the Halifax region.  We had a number of people express interest in being part of a core group to kickstart the creation of the group. A strong team is needed to keep the community alive and well – I’ll do what I can to help out.

Are you interested in creating such a community? Do you want to take a lead role? Did you FORGET to check off the box on the evaluation form indicating you were interested?  Fear not – post a Feedback/Comment here and I will ensure your contact info is passed on.
