Dynamics CRM 4.0 VPC verfügbar!

Viele viele Fragen gabs schon, wann denn endlich das neue VPC (RTM) von Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 verfügbar wäre und hurra, die frohe Botschaft lautet:

jetzt ist es da :-)

Ein Auszug aus dem Overview zum Image:

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Virtual Machine. This demo is a one computer setup with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 and associated Microsoft Dynamics CRM clients for Microsoft Office Outlook and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

This demonstration also contains Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, Microsoft Office Communications Server and client, Microsoft SharePoint services, and Microsoft PerformancePoint Server 2007. Full details about the image are included in the virtual machine itself.

This virtual machine will expire in April, 2009.

Login information for the virtual machine can be found on the login screen when the virtual machine is started.

Wie man sieht wurde mit dem Office Communications Server und dem Performance Point Server gleich ein schlagkräftiges Duo installiert, dass Demos vor allem in Hinblick auf BI (Forecasting, Analyse) und Collaboration wesentlich vereinfacht.

Was leider fehlt sind Testdaten, es gibt natürlich wieder welche zum Download, allerdings gewohnterweise in Englisch. Wer selber Testdaten anfertigen und für spätere Images oder auch für ein Testsystem im Büro wiederverwenden möchte, sei an unser DemoToolkit verwiesen, das genau sowas ermöglicht.

Das VPC hat eine Auswahl an Sprachdateien installiert, darunter auch Deutsch, somit steht dem Gebrauch der regionalen Sprache in der Applikation nichts mehr im Wege :-)
