&lt;p&gt;Here is the MDX that I can not retrieve a sub-total too..&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;sum({[Date].[Date].currentmember.level.members}.item(0): [Date].[Date].currentmember,[Measures].[Closing])&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;[Measures].[Closing] is a Count measure from our Claim measure group.&lt;/p&gt;
