I've long known that any tool is only as &amp;quot;good&amp;quot; as the hands of the artist who wields said tool...&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As proof of that concept, one need only look at the Eaglesoft Citation X, or one of Dave Eckert's fabulous models to see what even FSDS2 is capable of delivering.  Were it not for a few glaring shortcomings (such as the inability to parse MakeMDL.parts.xml), it is an extremely capable tool.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Where Max and GMax shine of course, is the sheer range of available tools that may be used, but at the end of the chain, mesh is mesh... ;)</description></item><item><title>re: Miscellaneous? But will it remain around too?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As Bill has pointed out the mod community has been around for a while and no doubt will continue to do so. Gmax opened the door to an extent and encouraged many more to take up the hobby and no doubt encouraged many people to buy the main 3DS Max application.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The future will be interesting to say the least. :)</description></item><item><title>re: Miscellaneous?
