 &lt;p&gt;Comprende PowerShell v2. e mi sa che ci sarà un bel po’ da studiare…&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Alcune cose prese qui e lì scorrendo l’indice:&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;ul&gt;   &lt;li&gt;Modules&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;PowerShell Remoting&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Ah… leggiucchiando qui li le novità su Windows Azure tra le righe ho trovato che usano PowerShell anche per gestire Windows Azure e che sarà parte della soluzione di gestione unificata delle infrastrutture miste Cloud-On-premise (code name System Center “Cloud”) che dovremmo iniziare a vedere il prossimo anno.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Efran Cobisi&lt;/strong&gt; di &lt;a href="http://www.powershell.it/" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;PowerShell.it&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; terrà una sessione dedicata a PowerShell v2 alla tappa del &lt;a href="http://www.microsoft.com/italy/lancio09/community.aspx" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Efficency Community Tour&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Le novità annunciate sono tante (&lt;a href="http://blogs.technet.com/italy/archive/2009/11/17/pdc09-keynote-iniziale.aspx" target="_blank"&gt;qui&lt;/a&gt; un ottimo resoconto di Renato sul blog del nostro team e &lt;a href="http://blogs.msdn.com/italy/archive/2009/11/17/pdc09-keynote-primo-giorno.aspx" target="_blank"&gt;qui&lt;/a&gt; un altrettanto ottimo resoconto di Pietro sul blog del team MSDN).&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Mi preme sottolinearne quattro:&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;ul&gt;   &lt;li&gt;La possibilità di creare, a partire da template preconfigurati, delle Virtual Machine che possono poi essere configurate a piacere e connesse all’infrastruttura aziendale avendo accesso in modalità amministrativa&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;La disponibilità della beta 1 di &lt;strong&gt;Windows Server ApplFabric&lt;/strong&gt; (scaricabile a breve da &lt;a href="http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsserver/ee695849.aspx" target="_blank"&gt;qui&lt;/a&gt;) un insieme di tecnologie per Windows Server (Velocity e Dublin) che consente la costruzione, la gestione e la scalabilità di applicazioni composite che girano su IIS&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Windows Azure Project Sydney, una tecnologia basata IPv6 che consente di connettere le infrastrutture tradizionali con applicazioni nel cloud&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;System Center Cloud (disponibile in beta nel 2010) che consentirà di avere un unico centro per la gestione dell’infrastruttura nel cloud e on-premise&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Tra le altre novità presentate cito il rilascio della di &lt;strong&gt;Windows Identity Foundation&lt;/strong&gt; (aka “Geneva framework”); si tratta di un componente per la scrittura di applicazioni in grado di usare la claim based autorization. Questo componente si affianca alla nuova versione di AD Federation Services nella costruzione di ambienti federati.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Direi che è ora di iniziare ad esplorare il cloud (anzi i cloud) e cercare di capire quale scenari si stanno prospettando, quali implicazioni ci sono per gli IT Pro e quali sono le problematiche legate a questo tipo di infrastruttura.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;C’è già molta “letteratura” sul web, ma è mia intenzione affrontare l’argomento con una serie di post che pubblicherò nelle prossime settimane a che spero possano servire per ragionare insieme su queste novità.&lt;/p&gt; che si sono tenuti a Milano (22 ottobre 2009) e Roma (27 ottobre 2009) è stato usato un cluster di host di virtualizzazione basati su Windows Server 2008 R2 e Hyper-V.     &lt;br /&gt;Manule Maina ha usato questo cluster durante la keynote per mostrare il funzionamento della Live Migration e io l'ho usato durante la mia sessione dedicata alle novità nella virtualizzazione per mostrare la configurazione di Cluster Shared Volume (CSV).     &lt;br /&gt;Qualcuno mi ha chiesto come è stata fatta tutta la configurazione, quali sono i passi, ecc...     &lt;br /&gt;Su questi argomenti ci sono decine di risorse, ma ho pesanto che un video, in italiano, che illustri tutti i passaggi dalla configurazione dei dischi alla Live Migration&amp;#160;  &lt;p&gt;Si tratta di una nuova tecnologia che consente l’accesso sicuro da remoto alla rete aziendale senza dover usare VPN.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;L’interesse suscitato è stato notevole e durante le pause caffé mi sono state rivolte molte domande al riguardo.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Dal 26/10 è disponibile la &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=164151" target="_blank"&gt;Infrastructure Planning and Design Guide for DirectAccess&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Si tratta di un nuovo elemento della serie &lt;a href="http://www.microsoft.com/IPD" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Infrastructure and Design Guide&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; che copre quattro punti fondamentali per il disegno di una soluzione basata su DirectAccess:&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;ul&gt;   &lt;li&gt;allineamento del progetto con le necessità di business&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;determinazione del tipo di connettività che sarà supportata per la connessione dei client remoti (IPv6, Teredo, 6to4, IP-HTTPS)&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Determinazione delle necessità di conversione IPv6/IPv4 e di ISATAP per le comunicazioni interne&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Determinazione del numero e della posizione dei server, delle necessità relative all’infrastruttura per il rilascio dei certificati digitali e punti di distribuzione delle CRL&lt;/li&gt; a Milano quali sono i tool che possono usare per fare migrazioni Physical-to-Virtual (P2V)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Lo strumento principe per eseguire queste operazioni è sicuramente &lt;a href="http://www.microsoft.com/systemcenter/virtualmachinemanager/en/us/default.aspx" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; che consente di fare migrazioni P2V di sistemi Windows anche a caldo (ossia a computer sorgente acceso) per versioni superiori a Windows Server 2003 SP2.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Nel caso di macchine Linux ci si deve invece rivolgere a tool di partner come &lt;a href="http://www.platespin.com/" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Platespin Migrate&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Per chi non ha grosse necessità e vuole solo convertire uno o due computer (client o server) può usare &lt;a href="http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/ee656415.aspx" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Disk2vhd di Sysinternals&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Ne è stata appena rilasciata la versione 1.2.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Questo tool consente di essere eseguito anche a computer sorgente acceso grazie all’uso di snapshot. I VHD possono essere creati anche localmente sullo stesso disco che si sta convertendo.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;img title="Disk2vhd" alt="" src="http://i.technet.microsoft.com/ee656415.Disk2vhd_1_2r2(en-us,MSDN.10).png" width="500" height="399" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Dopo la conversione il VHD generato può essere usato per creare una macchina virtuale. Al primo boot sarà eseguito un detect dell’hardware e quindi l’installazione dei corretti driver se presenti nell’immagine.  &lt;p&gt;Non mi ero reso conto di essere “rimasto assente” per così tanto tempo.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Il motivo è semplice: &lt;strong&gt;Windows 7&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Nel senso che la preparazione dell’&lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.microsoft.com/italy/lancio09/index.aspx" target="_blank"&gt;evento di lancio di Windows 7&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;, che si è tenuto ieri a Milano e si terrà &lt;a href="http://msevents.microsoft.com/cui/EventDetail.aspx?EventID=1032426790&amp;amp;culture=it-it" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;martedì prossimo (27 ottobre) a Roma&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, mi ha completamente assorbito.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Ho preparato due sessioni (&lt;em&gt;Distribuire Windows 7 e Windows Server 2008 R2 in azienda&lt;/em&gt; e &lt;em&gt;Novità per la virtualizzazione di server e client in Windows Server 2008 R2&lt;/em&gt;), due ambienti demo diversi, uno per la keynote e la mia presentazione sulla virtualizzazione e uno per la sessione dedicata al deployment.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;E poi c’è l’organizzazione del &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.microsoft.com/italy/lancio09/community.aspx" target="_blank"&gt;Community Tour&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; (un’estensione degli eventi di lancio organizzata da Microsoft e dalle community) che partirà il 28 ottobre a Napoli grazie a &lt;a href="http://dotnetcampania.org/content/CommunityTour2009.aspx" target="_blank"&gt;dotnetCampania&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Sono rimasto indietro con le notizie e con i post che avevo intenzione di pubblicare… cercherò di recuperare nei prossimi giorni.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Per il momento, benritrovati!&lt;/p&gt;    &lt;br /&gt;Usando &lt;a href="http://www.microsoft.com/systemcenter/virtualmachinemanager/en/us/default.aspx" shape="rect"&gt;&lt;font color="#800080"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;System Center Virtual Machine Manager&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, l'operazione è banale ed eseguibile dalla console di amministrazione (su questo torno a breve con un altro screencast).     &lt;br /&gt;
