The Flight Simulator experience and other tangential thoughts
Team Ramrod in the 2006 Mongol Rally

My firend and co-worker Justin Wood is one of the mission designers on FSX. He has been gone for the last few weeks (seems like much longer) participating in the London to Mongolia rally.

Reading through his blog it sounds like he is having quite an adventure. We were giving him a hard time before he left about how he was going to be stopped by the police and hassled and would have to bribe officials. Turns out he has had to do that and more.

I hope we get him back soon. It's been terrible trying to get FSX done without his help. That said Brandon Seltz (our other mission designer not including myself) has really stepped up and done an amazing job fixing bugs and improving the missions. I don't know what we would have done without him.

Here is a link to the Mongol Rally website.
