Hair Now Extinguished!
This has really been a crazy month or so. The last few weeks my hair was on-fire (what little I have) with multiple deadlines hitting simultaneously. There were two big ones with our script lockdown for all of the localization work to support all the different languages we ship in while working to hit our E3 requirements.
Add to all of this, one of our key mission designers disappeared for a few weeks when his contract ended. I can happily say he is now a full time employee, but for awhile there I was doing three jobs instead of the normal 1.5-2 jobs.
Anyway all is well. We hit our script deadline and completed all of the key content for E3. Now we can go into the "end game" with only a few burn marks.
I'm sorry I haven't been able to post more frequently, but the workload has just been too high to do anything but work. Last Friday I didn't sleep for 38 hours and worked three shifts in a row to get required work done. I've been paying for it since then!
Tomorrow I have to get up at 3:00 AM to get to SeaTac and catch my plane to LA for E3. I hate those early flights, but I'm looking forward to the show. Maybe I can get some pictures taken of the booth and post them. If Pixelpoke would give me his memory card I could post some pictures of us in the studio when we were capturing video for the E3 trailer. He won't let go of the card!!!
I'll do some posting after the show and hopefully some new screens will be released by then.
