Flashback to Nintendo

I doubt anyone will care, but this is just too funny. A friend of mine that I worked with at Nintendo so many years ago sent me this link to a site about Nintendo. If you scroll almost all the way to the bottom of the page, there is a shot of me with three of my co-workers in Nintendo Power back when I had hair!

I haven't even read the article yet, but I'm sure it will bring back some memories.

LOL!!  I'm pretty sure that my grandmother has that very issue in a box somewhere.  She was a Nintendo fanatic back then, and her favorite game was Willow.  Often she would get me to play in the spots that she couldn't get past.  If you were a game counsellor back then, I'm pretty sure you might have spoken to her - she would always rack up a huge long distance bill calling you guys!

I loved my nintendo, as an only child it was a suitable replacement for siblings lol, I still think the Super Nintendo was the high point in video gaming...

Owen, I may very well have talked with your grandmother. I was a game counselor for about 9 motnhs before I moved into a management role then on to product analysis and development when I started doing design work. In the call center we had regulars that would call everyday and talk to specific game counselors that they liked. Some of them were really hard to get off the phone and some were clearly just lonely and needed someone to talk to.
