A new perspective from Partner Perspectives
I had the pleasure of being grilled by our ever inquisitive partner team last week about my thoughts on working with partners and technology. You can read the published version (click to view 'Geek Gland Explained') on the partner perspectives blog. So before too many people read it I thought I would expand on my 'Geek Gland' thinking. First it's not intended to be having a go at the more technically accomplished person in fact the word 'Geek' has become cool over the last couple of years. I know of one person who even has a blog called 'Geek in Disguise', that's how cool the word has become. This is not just a UK phenomenon it has happened in Japan also. They have a term 'Otaku' which I understand is the word for 'Geek' in Japan (please comment if my translation is not correct). Such is the interest in 'Otaku' that a TV series and movie has been created. Being British we are a little more reserved, we do have 'PTS TV' and one day you may see us at your local Cinema. One day!
