Old Dog, New Tricks!
Hello and welcome to my 'BLOG', yes there you go I've said the 'B' word. Many believed it would never happen (I was one of them), but at last I am here, online and in fine voice.
For some time my team mates have been doing the right thing and sharing all that is good (and sometimes bad) about technology through the power of blogging. It's taken me sometime to digest all that is good about blogging and to find my own way into the blogsphere. I've had lot's of great insights from people already blogging (thanks Steve and Team), I've read many different blogs to get a feel for style and grammar (two things I will need to work on) and I've read many books and articles on the topic. It's been an interesting journey of discovery and one that I will be sharing over the coming posts.
So what's this blog all about. Well it's about three things:
1) How to get the most Out of Office System. I'll be sharing my learning's of the Microsoft Office System 2007 (MOSS 2007) as we get closer to RTM (Release To Manufacturing) with the soon to be released TR2 (Technical Refresh 2).
2) I'll be taking a look at some of the other technologies and products that are Outside of the Office System that are key to unleashing the full potential of people, process and information in business solutions today. First up will be Vista RC1.
3) I'm Out of the Office lot's. This may be as part of my working with partners and customers or just traveling meeting people at events and conferences. Everyone has a perspective on technology and business and I'd like to open some of these up for discussion.
