Building my "Digital Dossier" ...starting at the middle
I am reading a wonderful book "Born Digital", which talks about the generation born after the 1980, The digital natives, how the authors call them.
Those who most probably are leaving behind their "Digital Dossier". As a parent, it is helping me be aware of all new and future challenges this and future generations are/will face, asking for a second thought on Identity, Privacy and safety to begin with. At the same time, it makes me realize My "Digital Dossier" is incomplete, good or bad?, maybe. I am not worry. As someone who works for a Software technology company though, it makes me think about not only important role the industry have in building all this digital lifestyle, but also even appreciating the good things towards building more secure, private and controlable software for these next generations.
