Have you checked IE8 Beta 1 yet?
I have just installed it...to be Beta 1, not bad, smother experience. Very visible the "7" Emulate IE7 button, more graphical on the Tools and Page menus, can go directly to you Live space from there. I also like the Quick tab button on the left top corner, easy way to thumbnail all you open tabs. I think you should try it yourself and see the evolution from Beta 1 until the its realease. This version thought is aimed for developers, is providing a more expandable and activity/services oriented web client. The activity providers, you need to check...But do it, here is the link you can download it:
