OneNote Super Searcher!
Not to hark on too much about my new found love affair with OneNote... But I am now making even better use of the "Print to OneNote" functionality that was available as a third party add on in 2003. Now, I have a send to OneNote icon on my Internet Explorer options, and this just takes the whole page that I am on and transfers it to the Unfiled Notes section of OneNote.
This is obviously quite cool, in that I can really quickly search the web for the topic I am looking for and throw everything in to OneNote to review later offline. But what makes the big difference in the Beta is that now OneNote, by some miracle (unexplained in my head), can search the text on those webpages and if you paste in an image from elsewhere, the search in OneNote can find text on those images.
So if I send a page that just has one small article about my topic of interest and I can't immediately remember where that is when I go back to my notes, I can just search all of OneNote to find the terms/words I am interested in.
For work purposes this is very cool for research projects and keeping focused on the important data so that you can pull together findings and make recommendations quickly. But, equally as important ;-) it's great for shopping around on the web and comparing prices and products.
