The KB you reference doesn't seem to be available.

When you say "approve the revision and re-deploy the service pack" do you mean that approving the revision will automatically re-deploy the service pack, or is there some additional step that needs to be taken?

Please address the numerous downstream problems with OL2007 SP1 + KB946983

specifically the outlook freezing and Crawl Scope Manager errors that are so well documented around the web... seems everyone is suffering these.
