I've pinned WLM to my task bar so it's there all the time. The reason being, I can close the WLM main window when not using it, but I still have access to features on the Jump List (by right-clicking the taskbar icon) to directly change or view my status or send a message. This replaces the little &amp;quot;blue pawn&amp;quot; icon that used to appear in the notification area.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I really like what Microsoft has done with the task bar in Windows 7. It is a great improvement.
