Work Efficiencies - Part 2 - 9 Simple things
So after plowing through a ton of email, the next thing I do is follow 9 simple steps that I read sometime ago but was brought to my attention not so long as in Digg post. I'll let you read the article, but summed up;
- Start with the hard stuff first
- Write down just 5 tasks to do each day
- Take a regular breather
- Cut-down on non-work activities during the day
- Keep a work journal
- Work fewer hours
- Disconnect yourself momentarily
- Mix it up - do different things during the week
- Keep motivating things in mind
I've been following these steps since the beginning of the year and with 2 product launches coming up this year, you can be sure I'm definitely going to be using them.
