Back from vacation and thought I would share this with you...

What are the available Network Access Protection (NAP) training solutions from Microsoft?

The first place to look is the Microsoft Learning Web site. This page lists all of the resources available from Microsoft Learning related to NAP, including E-Learning courses, classroom training courses, training plans, and a link to the Windows Server 2008 Networking and Network Access Protection (NAP) Microsoft Press book (highly recommended! :>).

Here are E-Learning courses for NAP:

Great NAP TechNet resources in one place

Hey everyone! I have been in downtown Seattle all this week at an internal Microsoft conference called “TechReady 6”. It is all about training the Microsoft field / service teams on our own products, chiefly Windows Server 2008. I have participated in a lot of the NAP presentations and assisted with the NAP instructor lead lab. I really have my work cut out for me in the next year, getting people all over the world the information they want about NAP.

Here is the Learning Path article on NAP from January of this year. Please let me know if there is something you are dying to see about NAP and I will see what I can do!

NAP E-Learning Clinic: Introducing Security and Policy Management in Windows Server 2008

Following-up from Greg’s post earlier this week on our new virtual lab for NAP, I wanted to make sure you see this E-Learning Clinic Amith Krishnan put together. This takes the topic of NAP at a higher level than the nitty-gritty details of the virtual lab. It is a good introductory resource on NAP before you launch head-first into the detailed lab.

Not only is it cool, but you get to stare at a beautiful picture of my co-worker Amith and hear his voice through the Clinic. Awesome! :->

NAP Virtual Lab now available on Microsoft.com

Hi everyone,

I’m happy to announce that we’ve added a NAP Virtual Lab to the NAP Events and Webcasts. This is an IPsec enforcement lab using a Windows Server 2003 DC, Windows Server 2008 Beta 3 Network Policy Server (NPS), and two Vista clients. Please take it out for a test drive. I would love to hear about what you think of the experience, and other virtual labs you’d like to see!

The great thing about these labs is you aren't required to have a set of machines of your own to TRY NAP NOW. Getting it working, play around with it, and send us feedback through our public web forum.
