I have been using Vista for 4+ years now (maybe longer). It is too painful to go back to XP for me now. :->

But, since most of the world is XP, NAP on XP makes a ton of sense...

I´ve orderd a win2k8 server to get nap running, but I have some trouble finding NAP for xp-64b (sp3 is only for x86 :O ). I realy hope it will change! (We can´t be the only ones with a nedd for clients running >=4g who would like to use nap).

/Cheers

re: XP NAP Client RTMs!!!

Jörgen, bad news I'm afraid. XP 64-bit isn't based on the XP code base, it is based on Windows Server 2003. We only produced the NAP Client for XP SP3 32-bit - this is the reason you are having trouble finding it.

Very sorry to leave you without a NAP Client when you are so willing to try it out! At this time we have no plans to supply any additional NAP Clients. We are working with multiple 3rd parties to produce Linux and Mac based NAP Clients.

Who knows, if the business need is there, we might end up building it out further!
