Web Chat: EAPHost in Windows Vista and Longhorn

Published 16 January 07 07:39 PM | MS NAP Team

The Enterprise Networking Group (ENG) is hosting a web chat on Tuesday, January 18th at 2:00 P.M. Pacific Time. This web chat will be focused on explaining the role of EAPHost, a networking component introduced in Windows Vista. EAPHost provides an Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) infrastructure for the authentication of "supplicant" protocol implementations such as 802.1x and Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP). This is part of the ENG team's ongoing efforts to engage with our customers, answer questions and find out your thoughts on the product.

For those who have questions on EAPHost, or developers who are writing EAP-methods or EAP-supplicants, bring your questions to our EAP experts who have developed and worked with EAPHost. We are looking forward for this opportunity to discuss with our customers and partners, so please come join us.
