About the Microsoft Security Response Center Blog!
The MSRC blog (
http://blogs.technet.com/msrc) was launched in February 2005 and provides a real-time way for the Microsoft Security Response Center to communicate with customers. Topics include day-to-day, "behind the scenes" information that helps customers understand Microsoft's security response efforts; updates during the early stages of security incidents; and regular postings for the bulletin release cycle. Since its launch, the blog has regularly gained readership, and is now listed in the CNet Top 100 security blogs.
The blog is one piece of the entire communications set provided by the Security Response team. Security Bulletins provide complete technical information to support security updates. Security Advisories provide authoritative guidance during security incidents, including early information about vulnerabilities, mitigations, and workarounds.
