Value of Certification Again!

Today I am at the Conference Center here in downtown Seattle at TechReady8. Joanne and I are talking talking talking up the Value of Certification to our Microsoft team members. They are excited for us to be pushing the value of certification framework out. Pushing out the message internally is one of those roles I really enjoy. Let the evangelism start at home...

- MCP Exams are developed by the community -- that means you and / or your MCP counterparts. The experts.
- Microsoft Learning requires me and all our team members to be certified. So we know what you are going through and what it is like to be on that side of the computer taking the exam.
- 55% of hiring managers consider employee certifications as a criterion for hiring. So, over 1 out of 2 hiring managers will automatically push you to the top of the resume pile. Sweet.
