New Windows 7 Expert Program for MCTs and MVPs

Announcing the Launch of the STEP Program

The Springboard Series Technical Expert Panel (STEP) Program has been created to build community and advocacy for a Windows 7 launch "by the community, for the community." In an effort to drive global awareness and value of Windows 7 through Springboard Series, we’ve created a program that will expand reach beyond typically-attended Microsoft events like Tech-Ed by activating top IT Pro community influencers within the Microsoft, MVP, and MCT communities.

This new program will:

· deliver content across the globe via the advanced technical knowledge from this select “virtual” team of IT pro experts

· offer  IT Pros community-created instructional tools and resources for further learning of Windows Client products

· help build a pool of highly recognized influencer evangelists toward the strategy of ensuring that Windows 7 is launched “for the community, by the community”

If you’d like to be considered or want to recommend someone for the new STEP Program, email Melissa Bathum (v-mebat@microsoft.com) for your application form today!

Springboard Series is a one-stop-shop for IT Pros on TechNet that provides dynamic information and structured resources to help you explore, test, pilot, and deploy the latest Windows OS in your environment. With Springboard Series, you can discover how Windows 7 can help you better manage and secure your PC client infrastructure, and find the tools and resources to guide you through each stage of the adoption process—from both Microsoft experts and our community of IT professionals around the world (visit www.microsoft.com/springboard to see the new Windows 7 resources).
