I started BDD 2007 Patch 1 (version 3.0.142.0) and this morning after clicking on the components refresh an alert stating WAIK 1.1 is required and then WAIK 1.0 disappeared from the installed compoents within BDD workbench.

I decided to install the WAIK 1.1 as directed now BDD 2007 simply says that WAIK 1.1 is downloaded and not installed.

i have been instructed to try and revert back to waik 1.0 is this possible and what steps would i follow.

First of all, I would like to say thank you for tips/help you have given me. I truly appreciate it.

I still have a questions/concerns on capturing an image when PC has been customized. For example, I have deployed a PC with Windows XP and I have customized to how I want it. Now, how would I get the same customized to image using MDT 2008. I have tried sysprepping it but it did not save all settings. Since this is Windows XP, and it’s not GUI based like Vista where you can manipulate the unattended.xml files. Is there a way I can modify the unattended file in Windows XP? If capturing the image by sysprep, what steps should be done? Please let me know if you can guide/walk me through. Once again thank you.

Sincerely,
