Tools of the trade (II)
I'm really enjoying Live Writer for creating blog posts - certainly more than the built-in editor from my blog host, or even Word 2007(how-to). A good tool as-is; and made even better with the library of community-developed plug-ins for Live Writer that you can download from the Live Gallery. (There's a Add a Plug-in... link to the Gallery in the Task Pane).
I'm also writing this along with several other posts on Sunday, and scheduling the publication date for Tuesday - we'll see how that works, and if I need to leave the laptop on all week, or if the posts will wait on the server.
A plug-in that I downloaded today - Insert Polaroid Picture.
Another free tool I'm trying out this week is Feevy. Take a look in my left nav for a dynamic blogroll - with the most current posts on top. Seems like a great way to drive dynamic content into your blog - just by dropping a URL into the header.
