Windows Vista, Office 2007 and Exchange 2007 Launch Atlantic City

Launch comes to NJ this week. Registration for Secaucus closed about a week ago, but there are about 30 seats left open in Atlantic City for this Tuesday. If you haven’t registered yet go to www.acrossamericalaunch.com/itpro to register. We’ll be at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center on Black Horse Pike. In the IT Pro Track we’ll be discussing the Business Desktop Deployment Solution Accelerators (available for download at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/desktopdeployment/bdd/2007/default.mspx), a collection of Microsoft Best Practice Guidance for Lite and Zero Touch Desktop Deployments.

We’ll also look at Exchange 2007 Deployment and Operational Efficiency, as well as take a good long look at Windows Vista.

In addition to customers, Partners and peers there will be Microsoft folks there like these that spoke with me at the NYC Launch last Tuesday.

Susan Wisowaty is an MSDN Presenter who presented one of the Developer Tracks in NYC.

Dmitri Tchikatilov and Mike McGeehan from the NY/NJ Metro Office in Manhattan shared some insights around how this Launch will impact the SQL side of the business and maximize our customer’s potential to exploit the Data Mining Functionality of SQL server and the story of end to end Business Intelligence built on the Office 2007 System and SQL Server. Dmitri is one of the smartest people I’ve ever met and is a PhD, hence the appellation Dr. T.  Mike is a great guy and very knowledgeable on SQL.

Mike...awesome job at the launch. This was my first, and I'm glad to see there are still some great speakers left in the field.  For the record, I wrote in a '10' before you started negotiations. ;)

I'll leave my questions for another forum. Hope to see you again on the next one...
