Rereading John Hagel and John Seely Brown's paper - From Push to Pull: Emerging models for mobilizing resources I realised that there is a linkage from their Pull Platform activities of:

  • Find
  • Connect
  • Innovate
  • Reflect

and the Edge pillars:

  • Discovery
  • Relationship Management
  • Rich Content
  • Collaborate

But alas it is not exact. Then I realised that the issue is that the pull platform activities are actually two levels: Innovate and Reflect sit above Find and Connect. Then Find becomes Rich Content and Discovery, Connect becomes relationship management and Collaborate.

This makes a lot more sense.
