Programming for kids

I've been trying to find a moment to look at the XNA Games Studio since I got to see a presentation from a colleague at work. It started me thinking a bit about my kids and whether they're too young to have a go at coding (ok so they're 1, 5 and 6 years old so XNA was more for me to play with I guess:))!

Anyway, here's a short list from an internal mail list that I plan to look through ... but would be interested in any thoughts from out there?

Squeak (http://www.squeak.org/)

Pooples (http://cise.sbu.ac.uk/pooples/pooples/index.html).

Kids Programming Language (http://www.kidsprogramminglanguage.com/)

Phrogram (http://www.phrogram.com)

Then there is "First Programming Language" that is the UKs entry from Hull University in this years Imagine Cup competition.

Cool!
