The IASA Foundations Reference Model (FRM) UK Review Group

Oliver Sims gave a great introduction to the work of the IASA Foundations Working Group to the UK FRM Review Group on Monday evening. I was staggered by the amount of work that is going into this and although still at an early stage I am truly excited at the opportunity this represents to unify many of the disconnects we have in architecture. If you are an architectural thought leader and think you should be involved with the likes of Oliver, Peter Eales, Eoin Woods, Nick Rozanski, Andrew Scheider, Grant Bellingham etc. then join the IASA and get in touch with me now - as the review has just began and is exclusively in the UK at moment.

The next plan is for the group to beta test the FRM at the UK Architect Insight Conference in March this year, which I believe is a must see if you are dedicated to influencing architect thought leadership. There you'll be able to work with:

  • Paul Preiss (IASA President)
  • Richard Hubert (IASA European President)
  • Oliver Simes ( FRM Member)
  • Angella Yochem (FRM Member)
  • Ivar Jacobsen (FRM Guest Member)

Should make for a good debate!
