Microsoft Virtualization – what’s the ROI?
I’ve just visited the Microsoft Virtualization homepage, and noticed it’s been given a funky new Silverlight makeover. One of the things which jumped out at me on the homepage was the ROI calculator. This is a great tool to clearly illustrate the cost savings that can be realised from adopting Microsoft virtualization.
It’s very straightforward, you enter information about your organisation, your project goals, current ‘As Is’ profile, and a few other bits and pieces. Before you know it, a report is generated based on this information, giving you a detailed analysis on your current ‘As Is’ profile, and where you could be if you were to adopt Microsoft Virtualization. Below is an example of just some of the data generated in the ROI calculator, based on some dummy data I entered. Why not give it a try? You might find out that Microsoft Virtualization could save you some serious cash!
