Exchange Server 2007 Releases to Manufacturing! Terry Myerson the GM for Exchange announced the news today on the Exchange Team Blog. Read the announcement here. Yes, the code is complete and sent off to where ever it is that it goes to so it can be prepared and readied for you to get your hands on it as fast as possible. Some of you have already gone into production on 2007 already. The Exchange team, Microsoft, and I applaud you! For the record, our current numbers are 218 customers in production with 58,168 mailboxes in the Rapid Deployment Program (RDP) alone. You can read some of their case studies to see why and how they did it. Microsoft itself is already deployed over 120,000 mailboxes running on Exchange Server 2007.
