Dziś dla oficjalnych beta testerów oraz subskrybentów TechNet i MSDN została udostępniona wersja Release Candidate systemu operacyjnego Windows 7 oraz Windows Server 2008 R2.

Publicznie wersja RC systemu Windows 7 zostanie opublikowana 5 maja 2009.
